The Ping S259 and the Callaway Opus SP+ are both tour grind wedges in chrome, but they are built for different buyers. The S259 runs from 46° to 62° across 9 lofts, with bounce from 6° to 14° and six grinds (B, E, H, S, T and W). That range lets you build a full set from gap wedge to lob wedge and match sole shape to your turf and attack angle. The Opus SP+ covers 54° to 60° in 4 lofts, bounce from 8° to 12°, and three grinds (S, X and Z). It is narrower, but it is the only one of the two tagged Forged, Tungsten Weighting and Multi-Material, and it lists at $159.99 per wedge against $217.5 for the S259.
Pick the Opus SP+ if you only need sand and lob wedges, want a forged head with tungsten weighting, and care about price. It is $57.51 cheaper per wedge, and that adds up across a set. Pick the S259 if fitting matters more than cost. Nine lofts, a wider bounce spread and six grinds give you more ways to dial in gapping and turf interaction, and that is where the S259 earns its higher price.
