The Callaway Opus SP+ and the Wilson Staff Model ZM are both forged tour grind wedges in chrome, but they split on range and price. The Staff Model ZM covers 50° to 60° across six lofts, so it is the easier line to gap. The Opus SP+ starts at 54° and stops at 60°, four lofts in all. Bounce runs 6° to 12° on the Wilson and 8° to 12° on the Callaway, which gives the Staff Model ZM more room to match a steep or shallow attack angle and firm or soft turf. What the Opus SP+ adds is construction. It is the only one tagged with tungsten weighting and a multi-material build, and it pairs a named Z, S or X grind with every loft. The Staff Model ZM lists progressive lofts instead.
Pick the Wilson Staff Model ZM if gapping, bounce choice or price comes first. It lists at $129.99 per wedge against $159.99 for the Opus SP+, a $30 saving on every club, and as the 2025 design it is the one more likely to be discounted. Pick the Callaway Opus SP+ if you want the newer 2026 build with tungsten weighting and a set grind for each loft, and you do not need anything below 54°.
