The Cobra King Wedge and the TaylorMade MG5 are both forged tour grind wedges with progressive lofts, so the split comes down to fitting range and price. The MG5 runs from 46° to 60° across 8 lofts and covers 7° to 14° of bounce, which gives more options for tight gapping and for matching bounce to your turf and attack angle. The King Wedge runs 48° to 60° across 7 lofts with 7° to 12° of bounce, but it counters with 4 grinds (D, T, V and W) against 3 for the MG5 (HT, LB and SB). More grinds means more sole shapes to fit how you deliver the club. The MG5 alone carries a Raw Face tag. At $139.99 per wedge, the King Wedge is $10 cheaper than the MG5 at $149.99.
Pick the TaylorMade MG5 if gapping and bounce fit come first. A 46° option and bounce up to 14° give it the wider fitting net, and the Raw Face is a bonus if that matters to you. Pick the Cobra King Wedge if sole shape is your priority or if you are buying a full set of wedges, where the $10 saving per club adds up. Feel is a personal call between two forged heads, so try both if you can.
