The gap between the Titleist Vokey SM10 and the Callaway Opus SP is fitting range, not construction. Both are forged tour grind wedges with progressive lofts, and both come in chrome. The Vokey SM10 runs 46° to 62° across 9 lofts, with bounce from 4° to 14° and 7 grinds (D, F, K, L, M, S and T). The Opus SP runs 48° to 64° across 8 lofts, with bounce from 7° to 14° and 5 grinds (C, S, T, W and X). That makes the Vokey SM10 the easier club to match to your turf, attack angle and gapping, and it is the only one of the two with a 46° option or a 4° bounce sole. The Opus SP answers with a 64° loft the Vokey SM10 does not offer, plus a lower list price.
Buy the Vokey SM10 if you want the sole fitted to your swing, or if you need a 46° or a low bounce lob wedge. Buy the Opus SP if price leads, since $159.99 against $179.99 saves $20 per wedge, or if a 64° belongs in your bag. The Opus SP is also the newer design, from 2025 rather than 2024, so expect the Vokey SM10 to be the one showing discounts that narrow or erase that gap.
