The Callaway Opus SP and Cleveland RTZ are both forged tour grind wedges with progressive lofts and a chrome finish, so the split comes down to fitting options and price. The RTZ runs 46° to 64° across 11 lofts, against 48° to 64° across 8 for the Opus SP, which gives it more ways to gap the top of the bag. Bounce tells a similar story. The RTZ spans 4° to 12° and the Opus SP 7° to 14°, so the Cleveland reaches lower for firm turf and shallow attack angles while the Callaway goes higher for soft ground and steeper deliveries. The Opus SP answers with five grinds (C, S, T, W and X) against four (Adapt, Full, Low and Mid), so it offers more sole shapes at the lofts it does cover. The RTZ is also the only one of the two tagged Variable Face Thickness.
Pick the Cleveland RTZ if you want the widest spread of lofts and bounces to dial in gapping and turf interaction. It also costs $10 less per wedge, $149.99 against $159.99. Pick the Callaway Opus SP if a specific sole shape matters more than raw loft count, or if you need 14° of bounce for soft conditions.
