The Titleist Vokey SM10 and the Cobra King Wedge look alike on paper. Both are forged, both come in chrome, both use progressive lofts, and both sit in the tour grind category. The gap is fitting range. The Vokey SM10 runs from 46° to 62° across 9 lofts, with bounce from 4° to 14° and 7 grinds. The King Wedge covers 48° to 60° in 7 lofts, bounce from 7° to 12°, and 4 grinds. If you play soft turf, dig with a steep attack angle, or need a 46° club to gap a strong-lofted iron set, the Vokey SM10 has an option the King Wedge does not. Golfers in the middle of the bounce range are well served by either.
The King Wedge is the better buy for most golfers at list price. It is $40 cheaper per wedge, $139.99 against $179.99, and it is the newer design, 2025 against 2024. That also means the Vokey SM10 is the one more likely to be discounted, so check street prices. Pick the Vokey SM10 if you need the low-bounce L grind, the high-bounce K grind, or a loft outside 48° to 60°, and fit matters more to you than price. If the King Wedge has your loft and bounce, buy it and keep the difference.
