On paper the Cobra OPTM X and the TaylorMade Qi4D share a lot. Both are 460cc players distance drivers with an adjustable hosel, both carry a High Launch tag, and both ship with a Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 in stiff. The gap is fitting range. The OPTM X comes in 9° and 10.5°, two lofts and one shaft. The Qi4D comes in 8°, 9°, 10.5° and 12°, four lofts, and adds a Ventus Blue 5 in regular as a second stock shaft. The 8° head suits faster swings that fight spin. The regular flex gives golfers who do not need stiff a stock option. The OPTM X covers the middle of that range and stops there.
If a 9° or 10.5° head with a stiff shaft fits your swing, the OPTM X does the same job for $100 less at list, $549 against $649, and it is the better buy. Choose the Qi4D if you need the 8° head to hold spin down, want the 12° option, or need regular flex off the rack. Price favors Cobra. Fitting range favors TaylorMade. Decide which one you are actually paying for.
