On paper, the TaylorMade Qi4D and the PXG Lightning Tour Mid are close cousins. Both are 460cc players distance drivers with an adjustable hosel, both carry a High Launch tag, and both ship with the Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 in stiff. The gaps are in options and price. The Qi4D comes in 8°, 9°, 10.5° and 12°, four lofts against three for the Lightning Tour Mid, which stops at 10.5°. TaylorMade also lists a second stock shaft, the Ventus Blue 5 in regular, where PXG lists only the stiff. That makes the Qi4D the easier fit for a golfer who needs 12° or a regular flex straight from the stock list. The Lightning Tour Mid answers with price: $499 MSRP against $649, a $150 difference for a very similar spec sheet.
If you fit the stiff Ventus Blue 6 and one of the three shared lofts, the PXG Lightning Tour Mid is the recommendation. You give up nothing on the spec sheet and keep $150. Pick the TaylorMade Qi4D if you need the 12° head, a regular flex off the rack, or you simply value having more loft and shaft choices to dial in launch. Feel and looks are personal, so hit both before spending either amount.
