The TaylorMade Qi35 Tour and the Cobra OPTM LS are both low-spin tour drivers, and they share most of their spec sheet. Both come in 9° and 10.5°, both have an adjustable hosel, and both ship with the same Fujikura Ventus Blue shafts in stiff and extra stiff. The real split is head size. The Qi35 Tour is a 440cc head, the OPTM LS is 460cc. A smaller head is usually the more workable, less forgiving option, so the Qi35 Tour leans toward players who shape shots and want a compact look at address. The OPTM LS gives the same low-spin intent in a full-size head, which tends to suit the player who wants spin control without giving up much on off-center hits.
For most golfers, the Cobra OPTM LS is the easier pick. It is the newer design by a year, it lists at $549 against $629 for the Qi35 Tour, and the larger head is the safer bet unless you already know you prefer a compact profile. Choose the TaylorMade Qi35 Tour if workability and a smaller head matter more to you than forgiveness, or if you can find it discounted since it is the older model. If price is your main filter, the $80 gap at list favors the OPTM LS.
