In short
The Odyssey Eleven (2021) is a high-MOI mallet built for maximum forgiveness on off-center putts. It is face balanced, with a built-in alignment aid.
The Odyssey Eleven landed in 2021 as one of the most stable putters the company had ever built, and Odyssey wasn't shy about saying so. This is a big mallet engineered to sit right up against the USGA's moment-of-inertia ceiling, which in plain terms means it fights twisting on off-center hits harder than almost anything else you can legally put in the bag.
The secret is weight placement. Odyssey used a multi-material body, pairing a lighter aluminum section with heavier steel pieces pushed out to the edges of the head. That perimeter weighting is what gives the Eleven its forgiveness. Catch a putt off the toe or the heel and the face stays squarer through impact than it has any right to, so your speed and line hold up better than they would on a smaller head.
Up front you get Odyssey's White Hot insert, the soft, responsive face that made the brand's reputation. Combined with a face-balanced hosel and a bold alignment aid on top, the Eleven is built for the golfer who wants the ball to start on line and roll out with predictable pace. It's a lot of putter, and it plays like it.
The Eleven is unapologetically a full mallet. The head is wide from front to back with a squared-off, geometric shape, and the top rail carries a prominent alignment aid that runs from the face toward the back to help you square things up at address. Odyssey offered it in a few flavors, including a Triple Track version with the three parallel lines borrowed from golf-ball marking, so pointing the putter where you want isn't a guessing game. Inside the head is where the design earns its high-MOI label. The aluminum-and-steel construction moves discretionary weight to the corners, and the face-balanced setup means the face points at the sky when you balance the shaft on your finger. That's the giveaway that this putter suits a stroke with very little arc. The White Hot insert softens the feel and quiets the sound at impact without turning the ball to mush, so you still get feedback on how solid the strike was.
Odyssey pioneered insert technology with the original White Hot face, which uses a urethane compound to produce a soft, consistent feel. Their Ai-ONE line uses AI to optimize face patterns for better roll on off-center strikes.
