The TaylorMade Qi4D Max and the Qi4D Max Lite share a 460cc head, an adjustable hosel, a High Launch profile, and a $649 MSRP, so the differences come down to fit. The Qi4D Max is a game improvement driver offered in 9°, 10.5° and 12°, and it can be built with the Fujikura Ventus Blue 5 in regular flex or the Aldila Ascent 45 in senior flex. That lower loft and the extra shaft option suit faster swings that fight spin. The Qi4D Max Lite is a max game improvement driver. It comes only in 10.5° and 12°, and only with the Aldila Ascent 45 senior shaft, which points it at slower swing speeds that need help getting the ball up and keeping it in play.
Pick the Qi4D Max if you have a moderate or fast swing, want the 9° option, or want a choice of shafts. Pick the Qi4D Max Lite if your swing speed is on the slower side and maximum forgiveness matters more than working the ball. Price does not separate them, since both list at $649, so the decision rests on your swing speed and how much forgiveness you want. Feel will differ between the two categories, so try both if you can.
