On paper these two are almost the same club. The TaylorMade Qi4D LS and the PXG Lightning Tour are both 460cc tour drivers with adjustable hosels, both come in 8°, 9° and 10.5°, and both ship with a Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 in stiff or a Ventus Blue 7 in x-stiff. Both carry a Low Spin tag. The one hard difference is price. The Lightning Tour lists at $499 and the Qi4D LS at $649, a gap of $150. So they suit the same golfer: a player who wants a low-spin tour head and already knows which loft and flex fits. The Qi4D LS only earns its premium if TaylorMade's shape and brand matter to you. Choose the TaylorMade Qi4D LS instead if feel and looks at address rank above price for you, or if you simply trust TaylorMade.
