In short
The Toulon Design Leucadia (2026) is a mallet putter built for stability and easier alignment. It has mid toe hang. It carries a $700 MSRP.
Most mallets show up with a line down the crown, a set of dots, or some version of railroad tracks pointing at the hole. The 2026 Toulon Design Leucadia has none of that. The top of the head is clean, and how you feel about that will probably decide whether this putter ever makes it into your bag. Some golfers aim better without a line to argue with. Others need the reference and will fight the blank crown all day.
The other thing worth knowing before anything else is the hosel setup. This is a mallet with mid toe hang, which is not the default. Plenty of mallets are built face balanced so the head resists rotation and stays square through a short, straight stroke. Leucadia goes the other way. The toe wants to drop, the face wants to open and close, and the head rewards a stroke that arcs.
So you get a mallet head with blade-style manners. That is a narrower fit than a typical high-MOI mallet, but it solves a real problem: golfers with a rotational stroke who want the stability and forgiveness of a bigger head without the putter fighting them on every backstroke. Toulon sits at the premium milled end of Callaway's putter range, and Leucadia is built for a golfer who already knows what their stroke does.
The head is a mallet, so the mass sits back and out from the face, and off-center hits hold their line better than they would on a small blade. What Toulon adds is hosel geometry that puts the shaft axis outside the center of gravity, producing mid toe hang instead of the face-balanced setup most mallets ship with. In practice, the head hangs at roughly 45 degrees when you balance the shaft on your finger, and it opens and closes naturally during the stroke rather than staying square to the target line. With no alignment aid on the crown, you aim off the leading edge of the face and the overall silhouette of the head. That is a deliberate choice, not an omission. Toulon has built clean-topline putters for years on the theory that a line drawn on a crown can pull your eyes and your aim without you noticing. If you already set up square and trust your eye, the blank crown removes a distraction. If you rely on a line to square the face, this is the wrong putter and no amount of practice will change that quickly.
