Cobra has spent the last few years quietly building a reputation in putters, and the 2026 MIM Blazer is the most focused version of that effort yet. It's a mallet, it's face balanced, and it has a proper alignment aid. That combination isn't an accident. Cobra built this thing for one specific job: keeping the face square for players who take the putter straight back and straight through.
The name tells you something too. MIM stands for metal injection molding, the manufacturing process Cobra has leaned on to hit tighter tolerances than traditional casting allows. In a putter, that consistency matters more than people think. Two heads that look identical can balance and swing differently if the weighting is sloppy. The MIM process is Cobra's answer to that problem.
If you fight a wandering face angle or you've never been sure where your putter is actually aimed, the Blazer makes a strong case for itself. It won't fix a bad read. It will make sure the ball starts where you pointed it more often than your current putter probably does.
The head is a full mallet, which puts weight out wide and away from the face. That's where the stability comes from. Off-center strikes twist the face less, so a putt struck a half inch toward the toe still holds most of its line and speed. Combine that with the face-balanced hang, where the face points at the sky when you balance the shaft on a finger, and you get a putter that actively resists rotating during the stroke. On top of the head sits the alignment aid, and this is where the mallet shape earns its keep. A wide body gives Cobra room to frame the ball and give your eyes an obvious reference at address. Aiming a blade takes practice. Aiming the Blazer mostly just takes looking at it.
