The biggest gap between these two is loft. The TaylorMade Qi runs 26 degrees at the 7-iron against 29 degrees for the Titleist T300, a 3 degree difference that works out to roughly 7 yards more carry at the same swing speed. That extra distance comes with a gapping job, because the Qi set stops at the pitching wedge at 40 degrees while the T300 runs through an approach wedge at 47 degrees. The Qi leans on tungsten weighting, a cast hollow body and an AI designed face to keep those strong lofts playable. The T300 takes the wide sole, perimeter weighting and high launch route instead, which suits golfers who struggle to get the ball up or who catch the turf heavy.
If distance tops your list, the Qi is the pick. It is also $126 cheaper at list, $1,099 against $1,225, and it is the newer design from 2024. If launch and forgiveness on thin or fat strikes matter more than raw carry, the T300 makes more sense, and its extra wedge fills the gap that strong lofts open up. Since the T300 dates from 2023, it is the one more likely to turn up discounted, which can flip the price argument.
