The Ping i540 and Ping i240 share a 4-iron to PW set makeup and forged construction, but they are built for different jobs. The i540 is a players distance iron with a hollow body, a thin face and tungsten weighting, and its 7-iron sits at 30 degrees against 32 degrees on the i240.
