It rusts because Callaway left the raw carbon steel face unplated. There is no chrome coating to slow it down, so it starts turning within a few rounds. It is intentional. The rust cuts glare and does not hurt the grooves, so you can play it exactly as it comes. The chrome and Black Plasma finishes are only on the body, not the hitting area.

The Tour Grind is a versatile shape with heel and toe relief, which suits players who like to open the face. Bounce varies by loft, with the mid lofts carrying more for full swings and the lob wedges set up for greenside work. If you play firm turf and take shallow divots, the higher-lofted Tour Grind options fit best. Steeper diggers on soft turf may want a wider, higher-bounce grind from the lineup instead.

The JAWS grooves are cut sharp and sit at a steep 37-degree angle, and skipping the chrome plating keeps that edge as machined. In real terms you will notice it most on partial shots and spinners off firm lies, where the extra bite grabs the cover. On full swings the difference is smaller, but the face texture between the grooves still helps on flighted approach shots.

The range runs 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, and 64 degrees. That covers a gap wedge all the way to a 64-degree lob. Most players build a set of two or three around their pitching wedge loft, then add the 58 or 60, and the 64 is there if you want a specialty club for high, soft shots around the green.

Not really. Wipe it down after a round to knock off grass and grit, but do not try to scrub the rust off, because that is doing its job. Keep the grooves clean with a brush so they can grab the ball. Over a season the face will darken and settle, which is exactly what Callaway designed it to do.
